Notes & Limitations
- Text-PDFs: Works best with PDFs that contain real text (not scanned images)
- Gescannte PDFs: Scanned documents cannot have text extracted - OCR is not supported
- Tabellen: Tables are not recognised as Markdown tables - the column structure is lost because PDFs store tables as positioned text blocks
- Mehrspaltige Layouts: Text from multi-column layouts may be extracted in the wrong order
- Bilder: Images in the PDF are not extracted, only text
- Formularfelder: Interactive form fields (checkboxes, input fields) are not recognised
- Sonderzeichen: Some special characters or custom fonts may not render correctly
Tip: This tool works best for simple text documents without tables, columns or complex formatting.
