What is included in support?
Support with me means more than just "taking a quick look". I offer structured technical support for your website, online shop or web application – from the first look at the error message to the final response. This includes error analysis in logs and code, fixing bugs and minor malfunctions, minor adjustments to content or settings, and advice by email or phone when you simply have a technical question.
An ongoing support arrangement is particularly helpful for companies that do not have their own IT department: you do not have to wrestle with cryptic error messages or spend hours searching forums. Report the problem, I analyse it and fix it – efficiently and transparently. Small adjustments such as changing a text, adding a new menu item or updating a plugin I handle directly, without you needing a quote and order confirmation.
What support specifically includes:
- Error analysis and diagnosis (logs, code, configuration)
- Bug fixes and resolution of malfunctions
- Minor adjustments to content, settings and configurations
- Plugin and extension updates (incl. compatibility check)
- Advice by email or phone for technical questions
- Screen sharing via TeamViewer for complex problems
How does a support session work?
From report to resolution – this is what a typical support process looks like:
Report
You describe the problem by email, phone or contact form. The more details (error message, screenshot, affected URL), the faster I can help.
Analysis
I investigate the problem – in logs, code or directly via screen sharing on your system. The cause is usually identified quickly.
Resolution
I fix the error or implement the adjustment – directly on the live system or in a staging environment, depending on the effort and criticality.
Feedback
You receive a brief summary: what the problem was, what was changed and what you should bear in mind in future – transparent and traceable.
Supported Systems in Support
I offer support for a wide range of CMS, shop systems and frameworks – both for projects I have developed myself and for third-party systems.
