What does this tool test?
Crawlability refers to whether and how search engines and bots can access a web page. Some websites intentionally or accidentally block certain bots via robots.txt, firewalls, or server configuration.
The Bot Crawlability Tester checks whether your website is accessible to various bots:
- AI Training Bots: GPTBot (OpenAI), ClaudeBot (Anthropic), Google-Extended, etc.
- AI Search Bots: PerplexityBot, ChatGPT-User, etc.
- Search Engines: Googlebot, Bingbot, YandexBot, etc.
- Social Media: Facebookexternalhit, Twitterbot, LinkedInBot, etc.
- SEO Tools: AhrefsBot, SEMrushBot, MJ12bot, etc.
The tool checks both direct HTTP access and robots.txt rules for each bot.
